Vintage Poppies: Growing up, I would point out things to my mom that I wanted and her reply was always, "oh, I could make that". Then she would look the item over carefully and figure out it's construction. I had high hopes that we would go home and make it, but most of the time we didn't. And that's ok! It has become one of our favorite family jokes and my family loves to laugh and laugh at ourselves. I guess that's why I find it so funny that I do the same thing to my kid! I tell you all this so you know that I have inherited that same gene. I see things when I am shopping and say to myself, "I could make that!" and most of the time I don't, Haha!
